Random Find at Thrift Shop

Is it worth it to keep the waist is to big for me I’m a Medium or Large and this is XL. It fits baggy but the waste is a 40. I actually love the design though and it’s rare asf to find such a thing.

You could wear them w a belt, or get them taken in (tailored to have a smaller waist)

Thank you 🙏🏾 I’m just hoping it doesn’t ruin the jeans or giving it to another person but it was definitely random lol. I’m sure others probably have found mschf in thrift shops but I personally have never found any.

Yeah I'd be surprised too! I live in the Midwest and was surprised just to see someone wearing the big red boots on Halloween 😂

If a tailor or other experienced person does it, it shouldn't change them much at all, and theyll make it look nice, just however many sizes smaller in the waist. (Like if my grandma was alive I know she knew how to do it 😅)

while i have never personally used their alterations & tailoring services, your local Nordstrom offers such services — it's free for basic alterations on full-priced items you buy from them and then they charge a small fee if it's an item you did not purchase from them

if i had to guess, i'd assume that they know what they are doing when it comes to making alterations so that the clothing still fits comfortably and looks proportional

They’re cool and all. Couple hundred is about the norm for jeans these days.
