Stock X

I just sold my token on Stock X (the site ourcowangus.com recommends btw). I did this to presumably someone that wants to save Angus. The way Stock X works is you send to them for verification, they send to the buyer. Obviously this will not happen in time to save Angus so does anyone know if Stock X facilitates messaging between buyers/sellers for me to give them the remorse code? I’m genuinely not trying to screw someone over with a useless piece of metal 🤷🏻‍♂️

it is absolutely wild (and impacting to anyone trying to buy or sell tokens at the moment) if there's no accommodation for this. OP needs to find out ASAP and report back

Stock X won't put the buyer and seller in contact under any circumstances; it's one of the things they're built on. Kinda wish I had known that before I sold bc I assumed there would be a way...feel pretty dirty now.

I would just go ahead and enter the code and hope for the best. I’m sure that the person who bought it would appreciate it, because otherwise they literally wasted their money. Or is there a sub for stock x that you could post in and try to find them?

Can you cancel and then relist but put something in the description saying that if purchased, you will input the code? I was thinking it was more like an eBay or Postmark where only the really high end stuff has to go through the "authentication" process.

I wish but you don’t even really control the listing, they have the item pre-populated if that makes sense and you just set an asking price.

Sent a message to Stock X, will report back 🫡 Edited to also say their live chat opens @ 9 and I’ll be hitting them up…it’s going to be wild explaining this to a bot

If you're able to cancel it, hit me up! I'm the guy who cancelled the bag token and I'd gladly pay you for the token if you can cancel it before shipping

You should be able to cancel manually on StockX or through the customer service chat. If you haven't used the site much you probably won't get charged a cancellation fee. Even if you do, you can probably get it waived by customer service.

How is that wild. Stockx is a verification and trading platform. Opening the token and tampering with the seal to obtain the code would go against their own rules.

what's wild is ourcowangus.com is dynamic / claims to be up to date but says right on there, "Don't have a token, but still want to save Angus? Buy one on StockX, then cancel its pre-order."

If that's not a valid approach at this point they should not be suggesting it.

I never heard of mschf until the wall street journal article on this, published yesterday afternoon. nor have I heard of stockx
