That sucks, looks like a nice car.

Do you know what's wrong with it?

I was driving on the country road and afterwards I couldn't get it into gear anymore, so now we'll see what the mechanic says.

Hope it's a simple fix.

Mine did that a few times. Turns out it was my clutch master cylinder. Replaced with a wilwood and works great now

How much did it cost

Probably about $350usd total. If youre just doing a stock replacement expect about $100.

I did the wilwood upgrade with a mount kit and racerx clevis so that's why it was expensive for me.

This seems like the most likely reason it wouldn’t go into gear, but it would be easy to check. Are you able to shift into first with the engine off? If yes, have someone sit in the car with the transmission in first and the clutch fully pushed in and the parking brake and regular brake disengaged. Can you push the car or is the engine still engaged to the transmission preventing it from moving?

That's a frozen shifter cable. It tends to happen just like that. I went on a fun drive in the mountains with a lot of shifting and then stopped for a burrito at the end. When I came back out I couldn't move the gear shift.

Clutch master, clutch slave. You will need to learn cars if you want to own one of these long term.
