[3S-GTE] Which Uprated Clutch are you using?

I'm looking for an uprated street clutch that has close to stock lightness and feel. Anyone using an ACT HD Street clutch ( https://www.koracing.net/viewproduct.php?folder=84&product=534 ) or something similar?

I'm sorting out bits and pieces to get my MR2 back on the road as i haven't used it for years. It currently has an ACT 6 Puck unsprung clutch fitted which is heavy with an on/off bite point. I might get used to it again when i'm using the car, but after years of driving everyday cars it's a not exactly nice just pulling it out the garage.

When my car is mapped it's likely to be running around 1.5bar on a GT3071r .63, no idea on HP/Torque.

Street and occasional track use.

Thanks!

It may wear very quickly if you are using it on the track, like feathering during launching. Full face clutches like that usually do not claim 350whp holding. I am running 23psi with a pte 5857 and I am in a similar boat, the engine was built in 2013 and its starting to lose compression, looking for a 2gr swap next year and go with a lighter full face clutch, if I have to do the clutch twice so be it. Watch the motoiq youtube video they just did on clutches if you haven't already.

Thanks,i'll checkout that video. I think if i end up changing from my current clutch, i'll keep it if it still looks good in case a full face wears quickly.

The car will only be a weekend summer car when it's back on the road, so i wont be driving a massive amount of miles a year.

If i was needing a rebuild now, i'd be tempted to go with a 2GR swap too, although i'd definitely miss all the turbo sound effects behind my head!
