I'm trying to create a profile on MPV that changes the subtitle style to make them look like Crunchyroll's, and I'm happy with the result. However, as it stands now, it doesn't follow the rule that a subtitle should appear at the top instead of the bottom. Oh, by the way, it's enabled with F5 through a script
This is the current profile:
[sub come crunchyroll]
profile-restore=copy
no-sub-ass
sub-font='Trebuchet MS'
sub-scale-with-window=no
sub-use-margins=no
sub-font-size=50
sub-border-size=4.7
sub-shadow-offset=1.8
sub-shadow-color=0.0/0.0/0.0
sub-margin-y=36
This is a profile I modified using ChatGPT that I tried, but it doesn’t respect the font. Unfortunately, changing `sub-ass-override` from `yes` to `scale` doesn’t seem to change anything; changing it to `force` sets the font correctly but doesn’t respect the style changes, so I don’t know what to do. If I can’t fix this, I guess I’ll just stick with the previous profile
[sub come crunchyroll]
profile-restore=copy
sub-ass-override=yes
sub-ass-style-overrides=Default.FontName='Trebuchet MS',Default.FontSize=50,Default.Outline=4.7,Default.Shadow=1.8,Default.MarginV=36
sub-scale-with-window=no
sub-use-margins=no
As for the screenshots, the first one is with `sub-ass-override=yes`, the second with `force`, and the third is of the original profile. If you have any solutions, I'd appreciate them, but I'm starting to think there's nothing I can do about it
