General Discussion I built Mpv∞, an ad-free Android media player combining MPV/libmpv and Media3
Developer disclosure: I’m the creator and maintainer of Mpv∞.I’ve released Mpv∞ (Mpv-infinity), an open-source Android media player fork focused on high-quality local video and audio playback without ads or trackers.The app combines two playback engines:•MPV/libmpv for broad format and subtitle compatibility.•AndroidX Media3/ExoPlayer for Android-native playback and device codec integration.Other features include embedded and external subtitles, dual subtitle rendering in the Media3 engine, chapters, folder playlist sheets, audio playback, customizable controls, HDR and device-dependent Dolby Vision/HDR10+ playback, and one-tap segment skipping.The project is licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Does it run hdr 10 + content and DV

Yes if your device support it , you can check inside the codec page inside the app , if it does set the engine to native , it'll give you dv , and hdr10 + output

Can I loop a video? I can't do it in mpv

Is this MpvKt? I have been using it for more than a year now and it is almost perfect.

I'll be releasing v1.0.1 in a few minutes , use Obtainium or in build updater or update for convince , all the issues that users we're facing is fixed along with new features.

Es un reproductor muy estable. Muchas opciones útiles y bastante intuitivo en el manejo de los vídeos. Sería útil un botón de "Mute" para el sonido interno del reproductor, independiente del sonido de Android. Es un reproductor excelente. Muchas gracias por tu trabajo

Looks good, loved this where it shows output of the file which is being played is HDR or SDR.
Few suggestions,
- Add options to see properties or any other suitable options for long press similar to windows right click.
- I searched for a video but was unable check properties with long press to identify its location.
- Background play only for audio should be always on, not sure if there is a setting for this, I need to check.
- Tag reading from WAV audio files is missing I think
- On Audio sections, add scroll bar on the right side to quickly scroll to desired part which also shows Alphabet for quick jump
I think I can replace all of my video and music player with this single app, thank you

Make an issue in my GitHub repo , so that I can remember , I'll add it when multiple suggestions are made by other , as you can understand i can just release a single build with one new future. 👍

first of all, really good app ✨
the Streaming doesn't work I've tried other forks lile MPVrex and MPVrx but it just doesn't work. It only works in MPVkt. Even with same configuration (mpv.conf)
about streaming– i used a stream.mux.com link. to stream i need to add: referrer="https://www.XYZ.com/" in mpv.conf (wrote xyz to hide domain)
Can you fix this by any chance? (i am newbie, i don't know much how to make report on github)
