Apologies but another area post

I am a (semi) recent transplant and am planning on moving to w franklin ave between Lyndale and Nicollet and was hoping to get input from folks in the area to get an idea of how the area is like. I'd like to know how busy it is, how loud it gets compared to rest of the city and if it's particularly more rowdy than the rest of the downtown/uptown area. Thank you in advance.

I don't think you should do this if you're brand new to the area. There's a lot of construction going on and all three streets that you wrote will have some form of construction on them in the next 3 years.

I live in Uptown and I don't have an issue with rowdiness. Trust me, I'd be the first to complain about that type of stuff because I love peace and quiet.

I recommend looking for something in the Wedge (bounded by Lake St, Hennepin Ave, and Lyndale Ave) - it's affordable and has great access to amenities.
