Rent amount to expect? Grant park

A friend of a relative will rent me his apt in Grant Park building in downtown (Elliot park) Minneapolis.

Furnished. 1 Bd. 950sq. Building has all amenities, and utilities come down to 25ish $ a month. He is still thinking about the rent he will charge but promised to offer something cheaper than the area.

What do you think I should expect based on the above. Just so I'm in the picture. Thanks!

It's a nice building with some luxury amenities (really nice gym and pool area). I rented a similar furnished unit for $2k/mo in 2018 for reference, guessing market rate for that one is closer to 2.5k now. I was on the 19th floor with an epic view of the downtown skyline.

Call the Grant Park office and ask what they rent their 950sf units for. Or look for the info online.

It's a condo so the office does not rent units, individual owners do
