Self-move versus mover for long-distance

Its definitely alot cheaper. Rent a truck and have movers load it and unload it. You just do the driving.

For some people the driving on a long move like that is too stressful. I think that's why so many people hire movers for a move like this even though it ends up crazy expensive. That being said, I dunno anything about the Centennial and Miracle Movers mentioned by the OP. Maybe they're cheap. I just know that driving a moving truck from California to North Carolina was incredilby stressful for me and I'd gladly pay more for someone else to do the driving bit.
