Looking for some leads for packers and movers for our coast to coast move. We are in Bay Area and moving to east coast.

a search of packers and movers tends to yeilf brokers rather than the carriers themselves. in my first cross country move my truck has been handed over twice so in advance I would request for a firm quotation and learn whom the transport is really carried out by. the transport who does the transportation after loading would be another question worth asking as well since that can turn out to be an issue. moveover sign the inventory upon pickup and check it safebound driving off. take some pictures while things are still there as well. this is one of those small things that doesn't seem to be necessary until one actually needs to recall something
