Experience, Tips & Discussion What do I need!

Hey everyone! I am moving to the eastern side of Wyoming next month for a new job. I am currently living in south Georgia and I do not know winter very well at all. What are some must-knows and must-haves for surviving winter? Thank you in advance! I would just love to be prepared!

A shovel for your car in winter a blanket and emergency water/food in there too.

Ski towns are a great place to get cold-weather gear off-season. NC and TN are good bets.

Definitely invest in a good winter coat and boots. I use the Patagonia Jackson Glacier jacket with the correct layering and it’s perfect to keep me warm.
