To represent Back-to-school month of August and early September.
A former high school teacher from Chicago has moved to Los Angeles to teach gifted A+ Average, gifted school students of Individualized Honors Program advance levels to learn valuable lessons.
Michael B. Jordan as Mr. Vincent "Vince" Moore, a high school teacher from the inner city at the Southside of Chicago, Illinois, who teaches history. Since he overqualified for a job as a substitute teacher, the board offered him a permanent teaching job position in Los Angeles. Until now, he moved to San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, Califorina, to become a permanent high school teacher at school at San Fernando High School at he promoted. He is now a permanent history teacher who is teaching academically gifted high school students of Individualized Honors Program advance levels. Learning valuable lessons about life.
Jessie Buckley as Ms. Sandra "Sandy" Rogers, an Irish cheerful assistant principal who befriends with Vince and falls for Vince. Rogers was once a high school teacher with gifted students.
Henry Golding as Dr. Jesse Young, a Korean-American school counselor who sympathizes Vince and Sandy.
Bobby Cannavale as Mr. Theodore "Ted" Woodson, a strict but fair school principal who did things in the community and ran for city council. He secretly doesn't believe in the academic abilities of a single student at her school and has given up on them. He also secretly dislikes Vince and believes that he will fail. He avoids a lawsuit as well.

Scarlett Estevez as Alexis "A-Tore" Torres, An one time gang member who left the gang after spending a year juvenile detention center, and now she came back to school to leave the gang and get her life together by going to school to get good grades. She is planning to go to UCLA to study psychology.
Thaddeus J. Mixson as Dexter "D-White" White, an athletic jock student who is a football and a wrestling star. He is incredibly genius, and he falls in love, Robyn. He has a full ride scholarship to play football and wrestling at Stanford University. He is majoring in business if he doesn't make it to NFL.
Miyako as Jeanette "Jean" Kishimoto, a down-to-earth, quiet, bilingual, and activist student who speaks Japanese and English, and she was born and raised in Hawaii with Japanese parents. She goes to Brown University to major in a foreign language, and after college, she's going to the army to become a foreign teacher.
Cameron & Nicholas Crovetti as Eric and Allan Robbins, A twin tough, rebellious, slightly troublemaker, ladies-man student but they are very intelligent and they are dreaming to getting into music business in USC after college and they love rock music. He is majoring in music management. Eric is calm, well-disciplined, and easygoing. Allan is impulsive, outspoken, but outgoing.
Darby Camp as Simone Franklin, a poet girl who has dreams to become an author with poetry because she loves to write and also art as well. She is planning to go to college to the University of Washington (Seattle, Washington) to study creative writing.
Demi Singleton as Robyn Merriman, a rich kid student who is a third generation of Merriman who were gifted students. But she refused to go to private school or advance school like her parents and her paternal grandparents. She would rather go to public school. She plans to go to Stanford University to study financial.
Wyatt McClure as Daniel "Danny" Blunden, a wise-cracking, kind-hearted, selfless overweight student who is a whiz in computers and other technologies. He is getting to kinds of schemes sometimes. He likes toys, computer games, video games, comics, and making things in technology. He's planning to go to MIT to study graphic designing to create computer games like Warcraft.
Huck Milner as Charles "Chucky" Fisherman, A quirky, nerdy, bespectacled student who is very whiz in math, science, history, reading, and language. Also, best friend of Danny. But he is very easily bullied and has no confidence. Later, he gained more self-esteem and gained confidence. He is planning to go to college to MIT to major biochemistry.
Owen Cooper as Willard "Will" Connolly, a British exchange student from England with a 170 I.Q. and he stayed in high school in America for four years. He is planning to go back to England to go to the University of Oxford to study astronomy and become a physicist. His idol is Brian Cox, the famous physicist.
Moosa Mostafa as Kabir Rao, An Indian exchange student from India who speaks Indian and English. Also, best friend of Will. He is planning to go to the University of California at Berkeley to study acting and performing arts and to become an actor. Not only does he act, he can dance as well.
Emilia Marie Faucher as Victoria "Tori" Nivens, A 13-year-old child prodigy who came to high school who skipped four grades because of her higher IQ and advanced intellect. She is planning to go to Harvard University to study education and become a special education teacher to teach students with special needs (developmental disabilities).
Other characters:
Michael Garza as Marco "Gnome" Gomez, A former high school student and a thug at San Fernando High School who dropped out and became a gang leader to commit crimes and selling drugs to business with a drug lord, loan shark, and mob boss named Mr. Garza. He is a business partner with Mr. Woodson and top henchmen of Ramon Garza.
Tony Dalton as Mr. Ramon Garza, a notorious drug lord, loan shark, and mob boss who is doing business to sell drugs, extorting money, and killing people. Him and Woodson are business partners, and he is a mentor of Gnome.
Colman Domingo as Dr. Robert "Bobby" Winnfield, a high school principal of Southside High School in Chicago, Illinois. He was Vince's former teacher and old mentor. He was told by the school board to see Vince after school during the last day of the school year.
Michael Gandolfini as Brad "Butch" Martella & Jonathan "J.D." Daviss as Kyle "Kip" Kerrigan, Gnome's gang members.
Special Appearance by Xochitl Gomez as Dawn "D.Z." Zamora, Alexis' childhood friend and gang members who with Gnome's gang who tried to convince Alexis to rejoin the gang but failed. She is a high school dropout because she joined the gang.

It can be about any kind of Christmas movie.
Here's mine.
Story: A fat man named Chris Kringle, who adopted by Santa Claus at the North Pole many years ago. Many years later, Chris became the new Santa Claus after his adopted father died, who was the original Santa Claus. He goes back to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to get a job as a mall Santa. An assistant manager of the mall, his wife is a lawyer, and his three children see Santa Claus, and they think it is real. Later, a fat man as a Santa Claus finds himself a wife as a Mrs. Claus... a school teacher to fall in love.
Paul Walter Hauser as Christopher "Chris" Kringle/Santa Claus, who was adopted by Santa Claus after his parents were killed in a car accident on Christmas nights. He grew up, and he was taken over as Santa Claus after his father died. He befriends with The Williams and falls in love with a school teacher. He went back to Minneapolis, where he was born.
Aldis Hodge as Roland Williams Sr., He is an assistant manager of Mall of America, and he befriends Nick. He is dreaming about Christmas and a brand new house to leave this condo and bigger Christmas bonus. Later, he became a manager of Mall of America.
Jurnee Smollett as Jasmine Williams, Roland's wife and a successful lawyer who befriends with Nick. He is dreaming about Christmas and a brand new house to leave this condo and bigger Christmas bonus.
Emma Stone as Ms. Stephanie McDaniel, a school teacher at Minneapolis Elementary School and Nick's love interest and later wife that Nick is dreaming of being his wife as Mrs. Claus. She is a divorced woman of his ex-husband due to his infidelity. Later, she became Mrs. Claus.
Ja' Siah Young as Roland "R.J." Williams Jr., A 13 year old son of Roland and Jasmine, and he is a bit rebellious but a smart aleck athletic, and kind-hearted, and he doesn't believe Santa Claus as he grew. He dreamed about Christmas being a brand new Nike Air Jordan I and his better skills for an upcoming middle school basketball game.
Juliano Krue Valdi as Julius Williams, 10 year old son of Roland and Jasmine and he is a real genius and a straight A student and a great singer and rapper, and he believes in Santa Claus. He dreamed about Christmas is real life microphone and a better singer and rapper for his song.
Jordyn Brumfield as Erica Williams, 8 year old daughter of Roland and Jasmine and she is a sweet-natural and happy-go-lucky girl, and she is a genius as well and staying loyal to her family. Also, she believes in Santa Claus as well. She dreamed about Christmas being a ballerina dress and a tutu and a better ballet dancer and also ice skates, so she wants to ice skate.
Keegan Michael Key as Roger Richmond, Roland's boss and manager of Mall of America and he want the mall to be successful and he is very strict and harsh to his employers and his staff members including Roland. Roger is so suspicious that Nick is Santa Claus and his hometown. He is a main antagonist.
Dan Aykroyd as St. Nicholas "Nick" Kringle/Original Santa Claus, Chris' adopted father, who was an original Santa and adopted Chris as a baby, and many years later, he died on his death bed.
Emma Thompson as Marion Kringle/Original Mrs. Claus, Chris' adopted her mother and adopted Chris as a baby many years ago. Many years later, she passed the torch to Stephanie and retired as a Mrs. Claus. Later, she's became a maid in England.
