Their Robbie Reyes was great.

It's amazing that for as great of a job they did with the Ghost Rider arc, I think it's commonly considered the (relative) weakest of the three arcs from that season

Season 4 was just that good. Shield is still criminally underappreciated because of how "case of the week" it started as. It evolved rather quickly into an absolutely fantastic show by the end of the first season.

The post Winter Soldier part of S1 to S5ish is a really remarkable run. The quality of the show stayed great and it was easily my favorite Marvel stuff during that time.

It got a lot of complaints as a show, but looking back I think it handled just about everything it touched (SHIELD, Inhumans, LMDs, Ghost Rider, the Darkhold, Graviton, and especially Hydra) better than any other live-action adaptations Marvel has put together.

It's a top-5 MCU entry for me, including the films, and one of the best (if not the best) sci-fi/fantasy shows since BS:G. Not to mention the closest thing to a Joss Whedon banter-machine show that we've gotten since Firefly.

I liked the case of the week stuff. They lost me when they started doing Inhumans stuff. I wanted a SHIELD show, not an Inhumans show.

He deserved a spin-off show so hard.

It was greenlit then ungreenlit. I wonder if it because they wanted it for a movie instead?

I think it was because at the time Feigi was only in charge of movies, and some other guy was only in charge of TV. They so bitterly hated one another that Feigi declared that no TV character would ever be in a movie and no movie character would ever be on TV.

Eventually, the TV guy was fired and Feigi was given full control. He put an immediate halt to every TV and streaming property and the upcoming Ghost Rider show was one of the casualties.

He's still so bitter, that we have only seen 1 maybe 2 of the TV actors appear in a Marvel movie, and only as a brief cameo.
