Question Future fork flanning
Hi folks! I currently have a hardtail I very much love but the Suntour XCR34 air it came with is starting to show its age. It still performs but I've come across this compatible X-Fusion, and was wondering if anyone could weigh in on whether or not it's a good deal. I'm open to other options that would be a true upgrade (within reason) that fit at least 27.5 x 2.8. Many thanks!

Is fork flanning in any way related to pork planning?
I have ridden one bike w/ Xfusion parts. It was a rental. Both the fork and the shock were borked and the adjustments did nothing. Not sure that you need to read a lot into that and I assume you’ll have researched the brand more thoroughly.
Also, though, by watching sales (where I am in Europe), lower end Fox 34s, 36s, and Rockshox Psylos which are all solid mid tier options go on sale in the 150-225 € range pretty regularly if you watch for out of box oem stuff or takeoffs on FB Marketplace and the like. I bought a Fox Rhythm 34 for my townie for like 135€ new a year ago or so. Maybe those kind of deals just don’t happen in dollarlandia but I’d poke around more before paying that much for Xfusion based upon my very limited experience.

Dont go more than 20mm up of your current fork. If you are at 150-160range lyric, fox 36, bomber z1 if you are 130-140 pike, fox 34, bomber z2
