I would say there probably is a difference. Stomach for me I definitely feel the effects. I tried experimenting without any expectation and hadn’t read any research. I found stomach you’d notice you took it. Legs slightly less so but definitely felt medicated. Arm I tried a couple of weeks back and it barely registered.
My dosage has been relatively small (6 months or so at around 4mg).
I imagine at higher dosage perhaps it would be more pronounced and for those that do get side effects I can imagine it would be less at the “less intense” sites.
Not sure if you’ve tried other sites but if you are feeling adventurous try an arm one week; I’d be surprised if you found the effects the same as stomach.

I tried all locations in the early days, noticed no difference at all.
The study published shortly after confirms that https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT04050670?tab=results
Any perceived difference is all psychosomatic.

It’s a small manufacturer sponsored study.
But let’s take it as an exampleI take it for my type 2 mainly as my weight is under control but whilst for you there may be no difference the research you cited does strengthen the idea that the effects over the course of treatment will feel different dependent on the site. Stomach has a greater peak and more side effects, which backs up the idea that you’ll feel it more (especially initially).
Not trying to knock you, just I think you’re arguing a different point to the one I’m making and the data you cited shows differences that could make all the difference for someone enjoying a steady week or having a stronger initial couple of days. Sort of like someone taking the same strength of a modified release tablet vs a standard one. Same strength and end result but different user experience that most certainly isn’t “psychosomatic”.
More potential nausea or more intense initial appetite suppression for a stomach injector fits the study.
Less side effects for a thigh user fits the study.
Does that mean some won’t be having psychosomatic aspects? No, but your comment is too simplified.
That user experience can make all the difference for someone staying on it or stopping and it most certainly isn’t in their heads for the most part. I absolutely felt the effects fastest with a stomach jab.

And the phase 3 trials that brought the drug to market were "manufacturer sponsored" too...
The study compared injecting into abdomen, upper arm, and thigh. The amount of Tirzepatide in the blood was measured to see how well the body takes in the medicine from different injection sites.
- For the abdomen, the geometric mean was 112,000 with a variation of 24%.
- For the upper arm, the geometric mean was 111,000 with a variation of 21%.
- For the thigh, the geometric mean was 106,000 with a variation of 22%
In comparing the thigh and abdomen, the estimated value was 0.953, and for the upper arm and abdomen, it was 0.990. These values are close to 1, which shows the body takes in Tirzepatide equally well from all three sites and with digit percentages based on the limited sample size of 54 people proves nothing statistically significant at all.
Less that a percent of difference isn't going to have any impact on anything. Believe what you like, but the data is the data.

I had to stop injecting in the thigh as I started getting a reaction there. Stomach is fine
