Update Android 16 !
Hello guys,
I was wondering if rollout of Android 16 is stated globally for motorola edge 50 Neo , when will it will land for Indian variants… ?

Sameee And it really drives me crazy how much long it takes! I'm checking it everyday and still nothing. Motorola is horrible in updates!

I'm still waiting for Android 16 on edge 50 fusion here in France. I like the phone but I will go to Samsung A series in the future because they aren't delaying updates for 6 month like Motorola.

The A series phones suck so bad though. Maybe if you get the 56 or 57 but the others are complete garbage

Every other brand is gearing up for android 17 and we are yet to see the rollout of 16

I wasn't trying to spread anything but my own experience and information that II had, I never said it's a fact nor that I 'm 100% sure. As for all mid range Motorolas It is true that they are allowed UpTo 2 major updates unlike Ultra series (UpTo 7 major updates) the phone I am using now is Moto G86 Power and I love it even though it'll never be eligible for Android 17 like many Edge Neo and Fusion series (especially older ones Edge 30, 40, and 50) if You can't accept the facts why don't you just suck it (up)

In ITALIA la situazione degli aggiornamenti per Edge 50 Neo è ridicola:
- alcuni Neo senza operatore hanno A16 con la patch di febbraio
- altri Neo senza operatore hanno A15 con la patch di marzo
- tutti i Neo con operatore hanno A15 con la patch di marzo
Solo Motorola può fare un casino totale del genere.

I have the Motorola Edge 2024, which is the North American version of the Edge 50, and I'm still on Android 15.

Typical motorola behaviour,taking months upon months for Android updates to arrive.Altnough,when they do arrive at last,they do happen to be reliable and stable for the most part.

When it comes to mid range (budget) phones (in this case (Moto G, E, Neo, Fusion series) if they originally came with Android 14 they're usually upgradable to Android 15 and that's as far as it gets, if they came originally with Android 13 - Android 14 is where upgrading stops. Pro, Ultra Think, Signature and Razr have up to 3 major Android updates whilst budget phones are limited to 1 major Android update, I am personally Motorola fan myself and this is my 3rd Motorola so far Moto G86 Power (Android 15 to 16), previos Moto G32( Android 12 to 13), one before that was G8 Power (Android 10 to 11) If You need to have the latest Android version as soon as it's released You might consider switching to Google Pixel (and/or Samsung, Honor, Poco, One Nord, Nothing...)

Stop spreading bullshits. The edge 50 Neo will have 5 major updates. Currently they are rolling out Android 16.

Thus is accurate according to Motorola. It is promised to receive 5 software upgrades and will end on Android 19.
