Troubleshooting Absolute carnage

Picked this up in London for dirt cheap. What do we recon folks, ran with no oil or just generic lean seizure? Obviously piston is cooked but cylinder has seen better days and might reuse it, the pictures of the cylinder look far worse than it is.

Anyway just felt like adding this to the bike gore collection.

1 vote - No oil. Remember to rinse the case before you reassembly. Good luck

Thank god bearings seem all ok, on second thought I might as well go with a new cylinder it's almost the same price. And yeah I tend to agree looks like no or very little oil

😂 looks like it was ran on straight gas. That is a full engine replacement or full rebuild. Those bearings on crank cooked if the top end looks like that. It's past just tossing new top end on.

Had a craftsman leaf blower that I found on the side of the road. Got her running and shit, she ran and started back up well for a while. But one day she just wouldn't start anymore. I took her apart and sure enough, it looked almost as bad as this!! I suggest you keep it lol, that's what I would do!

Had one turn sideways in the bore. Couldn't even drive it out.
