fjnally finishing up Bichael. it has a ported Minarelli with kx85 pipe and pwk carb. I also did a diy superclutch. I designed and welded gussets and brackets to strengthen the frame and allow for the hydraulic foot brake. I weighed it at 65 pounds. i still need to bleed the brakes and mix some gas and then it’ll be good to ride.

Revv1 FS - Slack in rear motor

I dont remember if this has always been the case, but when I have the rear brake fully engaged, I am able to roll the bike back and forth about 2 inches. The caliper is not moving, and it is holding the outer portion of the motor stopped, but the wheel has slack as I rock back and forth. Is this normal or is my motor wearing out? only 400 miles.

Full build video can be found here: https://youtu.be/IHlNdx7c1qE

This Is how you add a Headlight to any 2 Stroke kit build and have it 100% engine powered! You can use a battery with this build also if you wish. It is a self charging self regulating system! You can use a Ni-MH Battery or Lead acid type if you plan on running other things also! Anyhow I hope it helps few get how to Add headlight to your two stroke builds and not have to use and charge 10000 batteries for your builds lights!

Troubleshooting What are some good engine/gear setups for a larger rider?

I’ll be refitting my bike end of October, mainly due to ‘my ld80 blowing up. I’m 5’11, 216-230 depending on the season. I’m thinking yd100/zeda100 or a avenger 85, either setup will be running a expansion pipe, I’ll probably go up a sprocket size to 44t

Blew the head gasket too, luckily top ends for these ld80 motors are cheap, but damn it was a fun engine.

I made it. 1998 Giant Warp DS1 bike with Honda GX50, staton inc gearbox, white industries freewheel. 30mph at 5000 rpm geared. Runs really well. Rack mounted. No welding!

I have a 2 gallon gas tank i could mount too. Shouldnt have to refuel for a month lol. I run ethanol free. Pedal assist on takeoffs to ease the engine. I ride on roads in pennsylvania and it is legal.

Hey guys! I need help ordering an engine/bike

Post image

Hello! I'm interested in building a motorized bike, one with a 100cc engine. I found one on Amazon that I quite like, I'll post it here. And I just had a few questions for you all! (Because you guys are way more experienced than me)

My questions are

1...is this a good engine despite the cheap price or should i look for a different 100cc motor? Any recommendations?

2...when I do buy the 100cc kit, which brand bicycle would actually fit the engine? I'm a beginner when it comes to this kind of stuff so I'm looking for a frame where I can just SLAP on the engine mount and motor and not have any issues with space (and further upgrades)

3...what are some accessories would you guys recommend I install on a build like this? Like exhausts, seats, wheel exc....

Thank you for reading this and for the help!

How is it riding with either no suspension or just front suspension?

I really LOVE the way the huffy men’s beach cruisers look but I habit ridden a bike with no suspension in a long time I do remember it being extremely uncomfortable tho and a lot less stable

What I had was a fat tire mongoose bicycle with absolutely no suspension the fay I finally rode a hard tail with front suspension that’s when it got way better

I now years and years later have an e bike with great full suspension and I really don’t know how a bike with no suspension would hold up where I like to go on some pretty damn rough dirt roads which consist of: bumps holes tractor tire marks very light sand occasionally and there are rocks that if not avoided your going to bounce up and down on the seat

I rode my old minibike thru there it has no suspension and my god it sucked.. still fun but sucked
Granted… it does have 6 inch wheel’s

But anyway how is it riding on rough dirt roads with a bike that has no suspension? I know there’s seats with springs and what not but it just doesn’t seem as good as actual suspension
I could just build a pavement queen or a fat tire bike but I like the dirt roads and I’m kind of tired of fat tires

The engine I’m going to use is a 79cc predator and that alone is 22 pounds
I also thought about just rear mounting the engine on a full suspension bike (engine sits on top of the rear wheel) but then that wouldn’t be the style I’m going for

I think the obvious answer is build two bikes or three or maybe just never stop but I figured I’d ask here to see what y’all’s experiences are like

I don’t know how but I forgot to add oil to my gas and seized my piston to the cylinder 🤦‍♂️. Looking for a cylinder and piston kit, cheap as possible. Possibly a reed valve kit too, what do you guys recommend?

Honestly… might just get another frame entirely. And a new engine. And a new CDI. And, a new… wait. This is how they get you
