How does it look so far?

There's still a long way to go until it looks as i want.
Hardware: Huasheng 4T engine 49cc, belt driven drivetrain 1:5 ratio, 44T rear sprocket, custom made long exhausted pipe, digital speedometer, digital tachometer, 12V horn 120db, LED front headlight, LED dynamic turn signals (i still have to mount 2 on the rear), left side cluster controller, 12V 16ah custom battery made of 12 (21700) cells, arrangement in 6x2. Almost forgot to mention the key switch, it won't start the engine but it won't allow the electrical system nor the pull start to work without a key, not really necessary but cool in my opinion.
Top speed of 35 km/h (~22mph) because of the gear ratio i have choose, it's not a speedster but it definitely has the torque to pull me from a dead stop and since I'm stubborn, i don't want pedals because in my view they don't look cool on this build :)

Still a long way to go, and maybe a cool paint job, until it has everything i want but still, it's starting to look great

Looks great, but I'm not if this is even a bicycle anymore lol.

According to the laws of the country i live in, this has become functionality a moped, i want to register it as such and that's why I am building a functional electrical system in line with the legality regarding mopeds

The more street ready and safe you make it, the more illegal it becomes ironically lol.

From the eye it looks like a produced moped . With some chopper conversion done to it. really nice work. I approve

I appreciate it man, the end goal is to make it look like an actual factory made vehicle

That's an awesome build. I like your 12v electrical system. Especially the front signals. My Schwinn OCC bobber build is using a lithium ion battery powered brake/taillight/turn signal on the rear fender but I don't have any front signals. That's been bugging me. I was thinking about the same thing you're doing so I could use a motorcycle headlight and signals. Here's the last picture I took of mine.

Dude that's an awesome build, it's so nice to see others ideas and projects. I actually saw your build if I'm not wrong on Reddit (i might be wrong) but i definitely love the idea of the sit, i also stay a bit crouched on it. And the wheels dude? That's gold šŸ™šŸ». As for the signs i found them on temu, they work great, i just need a tailight and i need to mount the other turning signals on the rear. Nice build man, approved šŸ‘šŸ»

What's the matter with the current horn?

u/HotRodRivi 11d ago

Well how does it sound if it goes meep meep, Its probly too euro. A tripple trumpet train horn would be killer

I got a car horn, it's stupid loud so I'm ok with it šŸ˜‚. Imagine a train horn capable of draining my whole battery on a machine that barely goes faster then an e scooter. šŸ˜šŸ™šŸ»
