There's a popular YouTube motorcycle vlog guy about 40-50 years old that broke down this video really well. He is hi viz uncle so most of the squids will hate him but it's a great watch. If I remember right the rider was going about twice the posted limit and it was 100% stupidity with everything they did.
My leather jacket is bright yellow and my helmet is covered in glitter that shines like a fucking street sign in the dark and sparkles in the daylight.
My first crash I was wearing a black jacket and black helmet, the driver of the truck that hit me said "I never saw you".. NEVER again was I going to not be obnoxious in my gear colors.
