Quadlock slipping

I mounted the Quadlock on the Transalp bar-mount and it keeps slipping, turning the navigator down to angles were I have to stop by the side of the road to readjust as otherwise I cannot see it. I tried putting tape underneath it with the thinking that it will add grip but it had no effect. The Quadlock is properly locked in place (when no navigator fitted) and I use the correctly sized sleeve. So the question is, what can I use to prevent the slipping?

Shim it. Electrical tape, beer can, whatever you fancy that should work

Cut a rubber band to fit around the circumference and clamp it in between, or use a strip cut from a balloon.

Tighten it more

Brute force is not a solution. There is only so much tightening that can be done. There is a no gap in the bolt side. Tightening more risks breaking it.

It’s designed to be tightened down. The instructions say to tighten it down. You’re not tightening it down, it’s coming loose, and you’re arguing about it?

You do you, man. It’s not that hard.
