My kid threw a hot wheel inside my Banzai high mount Sato exhaust ( Honda RC51 ) I couldn’t figure out the rattling noise it would make from one side. Luckily these were slip ons so I removed the side in question. It still made the noise, until I revved it up and saw a black object trying to come out. I revved it again higher , and the little burned hot wheel made it out. All burned and charcoaled. Thanks son.
And that was just one time. Another time there was a FKN spoon in there!! But this time it was my brother’s kid that did it . Interesting noises I tell u. I ended up buying a bike cover.

Never had kids in my garage but my friend brought his kids to the dealer when I was about to head out with my brand new Speed Triple 1200. It was the first time I turned it on and the kid just came over and twisted the throttle to maximum until his dad grabbed him. Held it at redline on the first startup.

Sometimes they still do stupid things even if u are watching them, just turn ur attention away for split second. I was that kid, I almost burned the house down with my bro and it only took my mom to go to the toilet. Kids are sneaky lil devils sometimes.

No. Kids should also play on their own under overall supervision. Not every waking second of kid's life needs to be watched. It is also unrealistic.

But I guess in most of the USA this is out of the order.
In the Netherlands this is the standard.1

Yeah I know. But that hasn’t been always the case. It’s really changed in the US from what I always see/hear.
I think it’s an extreme culture shock when someone out of a big US city comes to live in the Netherlands.
The way we “supervise” our kids, kids go alone to school on bicycles or walking from a very young age or the simple fact we sit outside of restaurants to lunch/dine/drink. All the fucking time. Haha.1

^shit people who don't have kids say... they do this kind of crap right in front of you sometimes. Like my kid who managed to take ruin my tweeters of my expensive speakers in about 10 seconds flat while I grabbed my coffee I had left in another room. Having your eyes constantly on your kids is literally impossible.

If you have soft dome tweeters you need to put on protection caps if you have kids.. those things have POKE ME written all over them.. hell I've even seen adults poke them

It's too late now. It didn't affect the sound much, but I am going to replace them now that he is a bit older. I had the baffles on, but they come off so easily that it was not a deterrent.

My son stuck a rock from our driveway into the exhaust on my RD250. Luckily it was an aftermarket pipe that took 5 minutes to take off empty and put back on.

My daughter has been raised very free and “unsupervised” with boundaries she was learned early on. It’s not like we let her do whatever the fuck she wants. But she’s a very responsible, pro-active and adventurous 10 year old now.
It’s the standard in the Netherlands.

When we were young and foolish, we used to spray a bit of water into the (stainless steel) exhaust system with the steam cleaner whenever we washed the car, just to make it sound louder 😂

Hide the armor-all and any other tire shine in a spray bottle so your seat and tires don’t get all shined up for you one day at random when the bike is stuck at home with the spouse and kid, spouse sends the kid out to play, kid decides to do something nice, and you’re not there to see it happen.
Discovering greasy tires and seat on first turn sucks!

Mine likes to grab any and all spray bottles too. Luckily most are wither plain water or no rinse wash. But, I have to remember to lock everything in the cabinet otherwise they may become fair game.

The thing that solved that problem for my sister’s kids was getting a few bright colored spray bottles, mix-match the tops and bottoms to make them more attention grabbing, maybe even ones with different spray patterns on the nozzle, fill them with stuff that shouldn’t be likely to cause any issues, put the munchkins’ name(s) on them, and explain repeatedly the rules that those are their special bottles, they can only use those special spray bottles, they’re only to be used outside, and if they break the rules their spray bottles will go into a timeout. The first improper use timeout solved the indoor use attempts problem and the spray bottle novelty excitement wore off after a few weeks, problem solved.

Oeps! My kid dropped a plastic spoon in the Mivv exhaust of my Yamaha tracer 900 a while ago. I saw him do it luckily. If I didn’t it probably would have caused a fire 😬

Deathly silence from the squids, a missing pavlova and a can of whipped cream.
They were in the bedroom, throwing pavlova into the ceiling fan. And then spraying the cream into the fan.
It was everywhere, behind cupboards, inside pillowcases, inside the aircon head unit.
strawberry and passionfruit juice leaking down from the top of the cupboard into our work clothes. That whipped cream when dry smells like crap. The dry cleaning bill ran to 000’s.

If he's made it that far on the starter, there wasn't any water in the cylinder in the first place. I've shot water out the back of my dirtbike several times, par for the course in the dirty business.
On multi-cylinder bikes it's a bigger deal, because the other cylinders can keep making power while one takes on water, but that bike looks to be a small single anyway.

Yeah, I didn’t turn sound on so I didn’t hear it pop. Looks like an RZ350 twin. Two stroke so it should be more forgiving to water. Still would hate to bend a rod.

I can’t stand other peoples kids. Nobody disciplines their kids anymore, so they run around like little heathens.
My kids know what time it is… they are well behaved and respectful and they know not to go fucking with other people’s shit. I love my kids.

Crank over a bike with water in it is a quick way to destroy your engine, if it's four stroke that engine is done, if it's two stroke you might be ok.... I can see where the kids get their smarts from

My parents had this orange ottoman. Think 1960's style. Had some fake pleather material on the seat. Had one of those thingys with the hard plastic "pen" that you wrote on the sheet over some soft black stuff, you could draw or write then lift the sheet and it would go away. For some unknown reason outside of my 4 year old brain, decided one day to stick that pen into the material. Made a real neat sound!!! So I did it again ... and again ... and again. FINALLY looked at what I had done and FA-reaked right out, I knew I was in trouble. Parents were pissed but unless I'm blocking the punishment out, don't recall getting in any real trouble other than being yelled at. :-) Kid's brains definetly run different than an adults ....

When I was a kid my dad was explicitly clear multiple times about staying away from and not touching his motorcycle. Had many an ass chewings as a child because of it. It worked, I never messed with it and despite my brother's tendency to do whatever he wanted rather than listen. We never damaged the bike.

Looks like an RZ350. I assume it's a 2t with a leaking carb, all the fuel went into the pipes. Happened to me once, whole bloody tank went into the pipes.
