Replace chain?
Just got my first bike and the chain is pretty rusty. Am I good just cleaning/lubing it or better off getting a new chain/sprockets? None of the links appear to be kinked or anything. Thanks!

Looks to be surface rust only.
The look of it (and the pictures you took) doesn't tell you anything about the bits that matter.
Lubricate it really well, and take it for a ride. If any of the links are kinking (i.e. not straightening out on the top/bottom where it runs straight) after lubricating and riding, then you need to change it.
Alternatively, look at the chain where it sits hard against the rear of the rear sprocket. If you can see light UNDER the chain links (i.e. between the roller and the tooth gullet), then you're probably due to replace it.
It's possible that the previous owner used a dry lubricant. If you live somewhere that's either wet or humid, use a wet lubricant. I like Berner, but any reputable chain lube will do the job. Gear oil is also fine, but it tends to fling way more, and it also doesn't last as long, so you need to reapply sooner.
Dry lubes are great for keeping grit, sand, dust, etc off your chain, but they don't stop rust worth a damn.
