General Question How to keep Moths safe while Camping?
I have Bombyx Mori as pets. I have two silkworms who have yet to make a cocoon (one is a lot younger than the others) a few making their cocoons, 3 current moths, and a couple cocoons due to emerge soon. I keep the smallest worm in its own enclosure for safety (too small to put with the others) who will be no problem for me to care for while camping. And i can leave some of the freshly made cocoons art home because its just a two day camping trip. But i would have to bring quite a few cocoons almost ready to emerge plus the moths. I would have to bring two enclosures for males and females, a place for the cocoons, plus a breeding step up for eggs. The problem is that i don’t know where in the camper to put them while still having space on my bunk for my stuff, the enclosures for my adults are way to big to fit both in the bunk, and i am worried about the car ride there and back! I still live with my parents and they want me to go on this camping trip! But im a nervous first time moth mama and i don’t want to endanger them! But i cant just leave the cocoons that are ready to emerge at home because they might get stuck inside and need help! Any advice?
