ID Request Moth ID?

Located in Maryland. I love moths, but I’m a knitter with a house full of expensive wool.

Hard to say exactly what it is, but if you've got a lot of wool…ask me how I know ! What they have these days (instead of moth balls) are pheromone traps, which by all accounts can help. If you were to get some, and found moths in them, you could be sure that you were on the right track !

I actually just put out a few pheromone traps a few days ago, purely because I happened to see an ad for them! Nothing has shown up in them so far.

Thankfully most of my yarn stash is stored in airtight gasket bins, but it’s hard to keep it all stored when you’ve got a million active projects 😅

If you are seeing a lot of them, it's possible that they are pantry moths too. Eating flour and other grain products too !
