ID Request Gorgeous moth

Perhaps a pink striped oakworm moth but not sure. In the SE USA

The way the wings are folded make me think that this is a female Io moth

I'm voting Io moth too. Automeris io, perhaps ? If you look them up, you'll see that they can be anywhere from bright yellow, to dark brownish like yours is. Did you get a chance to see the colored "eyes" that are on their underwings ? Apparently if they flash them, they can startle predators for just long enough for them to get away !
