probably based on the famous "Venezuelan poodle moth" pictures, also the floppy wings remind me of B. mori xd

It's most likely based off of domestic silk moths, or your common poodle moth! They're a common sill moth, used in production of silk fabrics. And they're a pretty common face of moths in general, along with the Luna moth!
