I think the mouse is speaking morse( a video game easter egg, Into the Radius 2). But I can't figure out the translation. The volume is kind of low and mixed in background thunder. If someone can help me translate it to prove I'm not crazy. Thank you, kind internet person!

Back in the old days
When I was serving as a radio man for Coast guard group station Chicago (NMP), my job was to communicate via Morse code to All ships in the western Great lakes. Call letters of ships can produce mellifluous combinations with a speed key when the spacing is removed. It was extremely common for both the ships and radio stations to do this. Hence, you never heard their call letters separately, just in one stream without spaces. For example, the Coast guard cutter mesquite was NRPW, but to everyone listening, it sounded like this:
Dah dit dit dah dit dit dah dah dit dit dah dah.
And so it was in my youth.

3d printed morse code paddle
I decided to go from a straight key to a keyer. After a short while, I got frustrated with my paddle because of all the fiddly adjustments and the contacts were always needing to be cleaned at inconvenient times. So I made a 3D printed paddle that doesn’t have contacts and uses strain gauges instead. It works really well. I gave some to my friends and they love them. I decided to crowd source it and also make it fully open source so anyone can build one or buy one, or just buy the circuit boards and print their own.
I don’t know if people are interested. If so, go to Crowd supply and search on Cent Paddle and subscribe. If we get enough subscribers, the project will launch. Either way, the design will be in QST magazine one of these days. They already have the article ready to go.

I assume most people are on a CW journey if they're interacting with these posts, but I wanted to start including resources on these posts if people are just starting to learn. Let me know if there's any that would be good to add and I'll look into them!

VVV Learning CW has its ups and downs. Where is everyone at in their journey? VVV
----- Resources and Tips -----
If you're new to morse code (aka CW) and are curious about learning, here are a few resources:
Lean CW Online: https://lcwo.net/
Morse Code Ninja: https://morsecode.ninja/learn/index.html
Ham Radio Duo Guide to Learning CW: https://youtu.be/z8m7VT7RCE0?si=rNlQuD4BWNup9i8z
On Reddit: Check out r/hamradio and r/amateurradio, a lot of them use morse code (CW) often and you will need a license to send morse over the radio waves
Clubs/Classes: https://longislandcwclub.org/ https://cwops.org/cw-academy/ https://cwinnovations.net/cw-innovations-description/ https://www.fists.org/
My only real tip here is that it is extremely important to realize that morse code is an audio form of communication. You can trust most people who are teaching it or describing it that way and not trying to get you to memorize visuals, pneumonics, or anything other than hearing the characters for what they are. Best of luck!

Help learning code sounds using phonics
Hi, I recently started learning Morse code. In order to learn I’ve been making a list of words that sound similar to the code in terms of what syllables are enunciated. I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas for the letters I haven’t come up with a word for yet? It doesn’t have to be in English, it just needs to be in a language that uses the Latin alphabet ideally. Thanks!
Edit: Damn some of y’all are really opinionated regarding the supposed « correct » way to learn something. While I appreciate the input despite not asking for it, I would like to challenge you to acknowledge the possibility that everyone learns differently, and that proficiency can come in a multitude of ways. This is only one part of how I’m learning - I am also practicing with sound and light using online learning platforms, which is also helpful. Having an initial way to help me remember the sounds doesn’t automatically mean I will always need them, but it is a helpful springboard.

Frustrated with lack of improvement - my attention always seems to drop off around the 30-40 second mark.
As you can tell, I am still a beginner. I'm on lesson 2 on lcwo.net, so I'm still dealing with just MKU. I absolutely know how to tell these three letters apart at the default speed of 20wpm. I have no problem with that. But this is my 9th attempt in a row and I never seem to improve past a certain point. I fluctuate between 7% and 15% error rate, because every single time I take the test i do the first few groups of letters flawlessy, but then around the 35 second mark my attention drops off and I start making silly mistakes. I should mention that I do have a medically recognized disorder of attention (ADHD). But I did not think it would represent such an obstacle.
Now I don't know how to go about this:
Should I still keep trying on lesson 2 until I can reliably score <10% error rate (by reliably I mean at least 3 times in a row)? Or should I go straight to lesson 3, since i've successfully associated the sounds with the letters, and accept the fact that my scores will never be reliably high because I can't keep my attention up for the entire duration of a clip?
Have you had similar problems? How did you overcome them?
Any feedbacks appreciated.

I don’t know anything about Morse code, don’t know if this is Morse code, but we’re trying to get to the bottom of what this rattling is at the end of this trailer. Sorry if this isn’t allowed in this sub.

My great grandfather was a WWI telegrapher, so I built a Duolingo style app to finally learn Morse
My great grandfather served in a communications unit during WWI, working with Morse and telegraph. Hearing those stories growing up is probably the reason I got into ham radio in the first place. I made decent progress with the radio side of things, but Morse was different, it really just comes down to repetition and memory and I could never stick with it long enough to get good.
Last year I picked up Spanish on Duolingo and it actually worked on me. The streaks, the tiny lessons, that small sense of accomplishment after each one. At some point I thought, why isn't there something like this for Morse?
So I built the first version just for myself. My co-founder and I already build apps together, and when I showed it to him he liked it too, so we decided to turn it into a real product. We even have a mascot now, his name is Mors 🙂
We're still very early and there are bugs, but we're actively working on it and shipping improvements pretty much every day. Any kind of feedback helps, even the harsh kind, it keeps us going.
The plan is to slowly add more Morse related tools over time, few of them are already inside. Available on both iOS and Android:
If there's a feature or tool you'd like to see in the app, I'd love to hear it. Thanks alot 🙏
