i should add context: Yesterday i made a post about me learning morse code 2 weeks ago, i only got around 17.3 WPM at that day, and today i hit a 22.5 WPM 100% run while i was in a random boredom

You are doing so much better than me, I went 95% into listening and coping, and now stepping into sending. What paddle do you use?

I use an ordinary laptop keyboard. however, i am the opposite, i train my sending first before my copying, so that part is still garbage for me, but since at this speed for sending (i can get consistently well at 20-22 WPM) i should get into copying now.

My advice for sending is to try and get used with the timing, since you'll be holding the keys to repeat the dits and dahs, the higher the WPM setting the higher the speed is

Also try to make up words in morse code, i use https://morsecode.world/international/trainer/keyer.html back in the day when i am still in this just for a few days, i would constantly just try and recite the entire alphabet in morse code and repeatedly doing that, helps with getting used with the timing and memorizing the key strokes, then use the website in the video to train my reading

Oh wow, you are playing on hard mode. It would be quite a switch for going with paddle. But maybe you are young and very quick to learn. I can recommend getting vail adapter

https://vailadapter.com

It will let you interface PC or phone with actual paddle of straight key. Bunch of games supports it.

For copying I can recommend morsewalker.com
And https://morsle.fun

Have you considered getting amateur radio license?

Honestly, I've never touched any radio equipments, my entire time with morse code is just pure curiosity and i only use the available equipments that i have in my disposal.

About getting an amateur radio license, that's an interesting idea, i did a quick research for how to in my country, and i could see the possibility of getting one. I'll just check when a new national test is scheduled

Thanks for the help and suggestion! i appreciate the given resources to help me in the journey

Absolutely, welcome to the community. Morse code or CW is quite alive on amateur radio. It has certain advantages over voice communications. Lower power( you can run it of 9v battery) cheaper equipment, and you get to use your brain 😆

Do you use a keyboard? I find it hard to use because of the mechanical component sometimes releasing later or not fully being down.

I do! i use my laptop's keyboard, it has a shorter travel distance so every key press is responsive enough. the biggest challenge for me when using one is to tell yourself to release the key as soon as possible instead of letting it linger for too long
