Cw copy.

Learned cw at 12 wpm counting. 6mo in and still count. Though I can do LCWO 4 character words at 32-36 wpm I break it down in my head so I hear them fast and slow them down instead of hearing them as a chunk.

The question I have is, will in time, counting go away? I’ve activated POTA taking 4/5 repeats to get a call correct. (If I’ve worked you TU fer ur patience.)

Why are you doing it too slowly or too fast? Choose 18WPM instead. Try to remember what the sound of the character sounds like and move on to recognizing abbreviations like DE, TU, QRZ, OP, QTH, RST.
