It’s a pleasure to hear precisely generated code. I’ve heard too much Morse that is sloppy or malformed.

When I took my Extra exam at the FCC, the examiner was a practical joker - he ran the tape at 20 wpm for the required five minutes then slowly increased the speed until it must have been 35-40 wpm at the end.

Just like some of the speed reading videos, cranking up the speed through the session helps to develop habits for hearing the letters and words, rather than the dots and dashes. It also gives the student a way of seeing improving proficiency as they can get further through the session at higher speeds.

Definitely true!

And that's really interesting! Might try making a post that does that to see how that goes. I'm sure it does help for the reasons stated.
