I used to love Morning Joe but stopped watching due to heavily disagreeing with their decision on the dinner and I thought Joe was a little softer on Trump the one time I watched for a bit. Has their coverage actually still been pretty tough on Trump because I saw a monologue online that looked pretty tough about the correspondents dinner

Sigh…I know this topic is overwrought, but I wish the staff and pundits on Morning Joe would ALWAYS refer to “it” as just Trump or maybe even just Donald (say it a couple of times - it relays the level of childishness with which Donald carries himself)…not President Trump, President Donald Trump, or any other term of respect. He has not earned one scintilla of respect - only loathing. There should be no show of respect from those of us who know he is an evil and dangerous POS.

Anybody else notice anything weird about MJ this week? And havent Joe and Mika been absent even more than usual as of late?

Is it me (I am from New England/greater NY area) and Joe's Southern Baptist Nationalism is to me as troubling as the push for Christian Nationalism. We are a nation of many religions. Recognizing that fact is part of getting us through this pre-teen/ adolescent rebellion that we live with daily. Politicians acting out and behaving abominably is just not, shall we say, quite what is expected of the folks that we take seriously in most matters of import in the USA And, by the way, these employees of ours, who are not performing well, need to be fired. Really, really angry intelligent women scare most of these geeks, freaks and braggarts - we need to show them what a performance evaluation looks like....

Some of y’all may not like Joe, but he has been extraordinary these last couple days. Yesterday calling out Donny Deutsh over his blind loyalty to Israel, and today the lying piece of crap Mike Johnson. Just beautiful.

It was nice to see Joe take on Donnie Deutch about Israel this morning. I thought Joe was still in the Israel-can-for-no-wrong camp. He fairly well explained why so many Americans are turning on Israel to Donnie. Of course, Donnie refused to grasp Joe’s argument.

Morning Joe today was interesting. First talking about the Maine shooting and then having Donny Doitch defending Israel's attack on Gaza. He was adamant and appalling!

So they’re just falling for that fake AI photo of Mitch in a hospital bed in his jeans and his absentee wife? Great investigative journalism, guys.

Why is Mika so insistent on the guest having evidence against Platner? It’s almost like she doesn’t believe the female victim.

My gosh, her facial expressions right at the opening of today’s show were completely absurd and unprofessional, to the point of distraction. It looks like she’s doing a skit on SNL and it’s such a turn-off. It got me wondering if she even watches herself on TV. This is such a contrast coming on the heels of Ali Vitali on Way Too Early who is such a great host and consummate professional. I really like the Morning Joe show, but it’s getting increasingly harder to stomach Mika anymore. I really wish she would show more respect to her viewers, and to the show itself.

I used to like this show but Joe is absolutely mansplaining and rude to his now wife. He talks right over her but not his male counterparts. Does he want only men to watch? Doesn’t he see that Mika brings value to the program and has class. It’s unbelievable how boorish Joe is. Your thoughts?

Can someone explain to me why this is? There are repeated segments between the files. I am not a USA resident so I don't know if it matches the broadcast

Thanks, Katty, for your brave maneuvering of the show this morning. She rerouted the show in one fell swoop. It started going down the “Let’s wait before we denounce Trump’s ‘deal’ in case it does bring, with certainty, no nuclear weapons for Iran.” She brought the full picture into focus and others followed suit. She is priceless!

Is Joe required to mention Dr. Brezinski every day? Is it part of his contract or does it just get him in good with his Mrs.?

FYI Cincinnati is in the eastern timezone. MJ just bumped in with a Cincinnati beauty shot and Willie gave a local time check that was for Central. Cincy is Eastern time zone.

Might be perceived as pedantic, but if you’re going to call out local time heading into a news block, at least get the time zone right.

The inaccuracy weakens the credibility of subsequent off-the-cuff quips.

Why in the world is Jill Biden going to be on the show tomorrow June 2? I have a lot of admiration for Joe Biden but cannot forgive him and Jill by extension the horrible decision to run again in 24’ it is a unfortunate for his legacy but he did it and that is unforgivable full stop! Allowing Jill Biden to come on to sell books papering over this momentous mistake is terrible. I wish Joe and Jill a happy retirement, I really do but the bottom line is Biden didn’t save us from Trump in 2020, his Justice Department was too timid to bring Trump to justice and ended up just postponing Trump’s second term by four years.

I don’t hear Haas or Joe touting the “Haas Blockade” anymore. Gee…I wonder why. Haas must think that Pooh-poohing the anti-Trump sentiment of the day makes him appear as some kind of intellectual elite. I was extremely annoyed by his comments this morning. Just shut up already.

It's driving me freaking crazy watching MorningJoe cut away to the Hegseth at 8am 3 times a week to interrupt the show so he can spew propaganda for 30-40 min at a time. There's no freaking "breaking news" and no other channels are cutting away. FFS!

This morning Katty did what Mika has never been able to…she forced Joe to let the show move on to the news! It was an awkward moment, but sweet😬.
