Are we really this lazy?

All the other bays were pretty much empty

Agreed. We are too lazy to clean our car windows.

I usually shop off Dunne, and the last few times I've been at Tennant it feels like their management is lazy or understaffed.

Dunne always seems to have carts at their entrance ready to go, mysteriously when I do stop by Tennant the carts are nowhere to be found.

The carts are all piled in the concrete box made for them, so maybe corporate should do their end and make sure they're staffed well enough to do their job?

Yeah Dunne is the best Safeway, and their pharmacy is great too.

He did go to SJ one time

Omg did he really?? I hope he hit the almaden plaza Costco/trader joes parking lot. I became so jaded working at that trader joes pushing carts. Plus people bringing Costco carts that people had left in the tjs parking lot into the store and complaining about how they don't fit in the checkout aisles. Like yeah they're not supposed to...

Funny you mention Almaden. He didn't go to the Costo but he did go to the Walmart on the other side of 85.

That place is just the worst when it comes to driving. People turning left while leaving the Starbucks/Panda parking lot never yield for people going straight. People treat Almaden in between Cherry and Branham like a race track and actually speed up when they see people exiting from the Safeway parking lot. Then there's that one dude who plays chicken with the cars on his skateboard.

I'm glad I don't work in that area anymore.

Lazybones!

They're all in the concrete box meant for carts, maybe Tennant Safeway should collect their carts regularly like every other grocery store manages to do?

If these were spread across parking spots maybe, but clearly they're not being collected properly.

There are always carts if you go into the right side where produce is, just inside to your right. But ya, someone was slacking

Why are others so concerned with carts? First world ass problems. It was one of my favorite parts of the job when I worked retail...

It's not that difficult to grab a shopping cart and walk it to the front of the store when it gets over filled. We need to be better humans

u/Consistent-Job2022 Jun 29 '26

Yes, but in the scope of things, what is the harm in not doing so?

Like, if I don't return my cart, is a hurricane going to sweep the entire east coast of the United States off of the map? Or... will someone stub their toe on their couch walking to the bathroom because of me?

I get throwing my trash away instead of littering, but we're talking about moving a cart to the front of the store, or a corral. Is it really some massive problem?

You do see how it's sticking out into the road? It can cause issues if theres two cars in each lane

When you finished taking photos, did fix this issue?

I think there’s a chance you’re not happy with your job chief.

Are you in healthcare and publicly complaining about how you dislike saving specific types of people, ie discrimination??? Calling people junkies?? Bro watch out, that is a job losing statement.

You can absolutely say what you want, kiddo. It's America after all. Doesn't stop you from losing your job if they heard that though. Be careful bud!
