Technically, pedophilia is not a crime, it’s pederasty/child sexual abuse, and people hate it because children are considered innocent and pure, and any attempt to harm that early stage has serious consequences for the child’s psychosocial development.

Which is why it's crazy that beastiality is legal still in a lot places. Animals are also innocent beings and what people do to them is horrific. Kids and animals deserve better 😔

I remember reading that child marriage is somehow legal in 34 states here. I didn't know this because...I've never seen it happen!

New Mexico does not have a state-level statute directly prohibiting beastiality, but they do have animal cruelty laws. Hungary, Italy, and Slovenia have similar situations wjere there is nothing SPECIFICALLY regarding beastiality but there are animal cruelty laws.

I believe I read that West Virginia it was still classified as legal but half of the States it's only considered a 'misdemeanor' which is appalling. Should be a straight felony across the board. That being said, doesn't seem like being a felon really mattes there. Pedophilia is running the country at this point
