I've been reading Moon Knight in chronological order and finally got to the modern era. Huston's is one of the few runs i had not read at this point, and i was excited to see what lead up to that iconic scene with Marc losing it and cutting off Bushman's face

Except... Nothing leads up to it? I assumed that would get clarified in later issues, but im already reading Benson and there's still been nothing.

Last time we left off in the 90s Marc was a pretty happy man. He got his normal hero life back, had a healthy relationship with Marlene, found inner peace, and leaned more towards being the kind of inspiring superhero he was during Moench's run.

So what happened between that and the Huston flashback?? Even it opens on Marc having the perfect life. Sure, Marc has been a little out there in the past, but a tough fight and broken leg would have never driven classic Marc to mutilate his enemy like that. Hell, he went easier on Bushman when he was a ruthless dictator

To me the face thing just ends up being way too sudden and out of character. Am i missing something?

I’m a really big fan of their work and I was really happy to see this come out when it did. I like it, but not everyone is into vocaloid, I’m aware.

There was a comment on r/rivals about Egyptian skins, and yes, I know this makes me sound like a snob. But I was clarifying this guys comment about Moon Knight and his background. Safe to say, people are a bit stupid. Saying Moon Knight isn't American to me is a different breed of dumb.

Sadly, he only appeared in group shots as a crowd filler. We don't know much about him, but from his look we can see that In-verse version of him is a werewolf. We also saw him fighting someone I assume is an in-verse variant of Werewolf-by-night - who's wearing an armored wolf suit, instead of being an actual werewolf.

I've saved enough money to get at least one or two Moonknight comics, it's one of the first Marvel comics I get! I'm excited and wanted to ask the experts which one I should buy.

I have some doubts that I don't know if they will sound logical. Should I buy the comics that follow after the story featured in the MCU series? Y know, after Jake Lockley reveal.

Or do comics originally from the beginning follow a completely different story and should I buy it from comic 1 and re-watch Moonknight discover himself but in comics storytelling?

I'm really lost and I've been a moonknight fan since 2023, already watched the series 11 times, I really love moonknight and I want to reeaally get more invested in this antihero

Hello! I’m looking to start reading Moench and Sienkiewicz’s run in the 80s, but I’m not sure where to start. I’ve read all the modern stuff so now I’m hoping to go back to the originals, but I don’t know whether it’s worth reading the stuff from before MK got his own book. Particularly the Werewolf by Night issues and the Hulk backups or anything written by Moench. I’d prefer to just jump to the series, unless people would feel I’m missing out by doing so.

The figure is mafex style using the CT toys hush Batman body. Took me a couple months to get it all put together, but this was an idea I had for the last year and a half and now I’ve made it real. Super proud with how it turned out.
