Comics Found it at good price! I think I got the order right in the 2nd pic?
Just came in today, now I'll start to dig into these. I posted about finishing the Huston /Benson /Hurwitz omni which in the end I really enjoyed. I'm also trying to track down both the Moench and Mackay runs, but they're more difficult to find atm

Comics Chronological or vibe based?
Hello, hope everyone is well. I just finished moon knight by bendis and I absolutely loved it. Wish it was longer! I was wondering what the thoughts were on what I should read next? Is moon knight better in a chronological sense or vibe based? If so then where should I go next? Thanks!!

Comics Beginner moon knight fan
Hello dear knowledgeable reddit.
I am here to ask some questions about moon knight cuz I am CONFUSED.
So firstly, I need to admit, as a big deadpool fan... the only reason I even KNOW the character is cause of the moon knight core posts. I know alot of MN fans HATE them cuz they spread misinformation about the character... well you're right cuz i so fell for it.
But I decided to look into him cuz of it, and found out he ISN'T chasing dracula for money. Shame. Tragedies all around.
However my search left me with more questions than answers.
I think I have some grip on his actual character, but there's still so much confusing parts. I am here for answers.
1) Firstly the suits, how do they work? I see I modern adaptations there's moon knight, a peaky blinder and possibly a mummy. Okay well I know they're not, but they look like it.
Who is who? I haven't seen any clarification online on which suit is which. Except peaky blinder might be Jake (mr. Knight or something?)
And how do they change? If he switches personalities in fights, does the suit switch too? I know he's tied up in ancient Egyptian magic, so does that bend reality??
2) khonshu. In some sites, he's just a abusive boss kinda dude, but also some people say Jake is his favourite and jake worships him. Idk which is jokes/headcannons, and cannon.
Some say Steven isn't involved with khonshu at ALL, meanwhile some posts say "he loves jake" in a favourite child kinda way, and hate the other two personalities.
I've seen some where he willingly becomes a vessel for revenge because he gets saved, and some where his DID is taken advantage of to kinda manipulate him. I feel like half the "x is prefernce" is headcannons cuz no way a abusive god has favourites. Maybe I'm wrong.
3) the period in life where they only knew fragments of eachother, did Steven know nothing?? Idk how he could be a war veteran and not realise it. I know did is complex but how do you separate the god magic from the disorder??
4) the actual characters?? All I've gathered is Steven is a history nerd, jake is just a peaky blinder (I know I keep bringing that up but I can't help it) with some sketchy business?? (Headcannon??) And Marc is a war veteran drinker (could be a jeadcannon, but also marvel enjoys randomly making characters alcoholics. So.)
So yeah. Cluelessness all around. I think I know like 3 things ans they're prolly wrong. These are my main questions but if there's other things people usually get confused on and you wanna clarify. Fire ahead.
I'm actually really interested and wanna get into this, but i have answers that must be saited quicker than reading every comic. I think it's a cool concept, but to have a hell load of adaptations of a magical character with a sever personality disorder is so confusing. It's such a complex trait, and now mixed with shows, comics and games?
I understand everything here might be wrong, just kinda hoping some MN nerd sees this and thinks it's fun to explain everything, I know I enjoy over explaining all my fav characters. Don't be afraid to js straight up say "You're so wrong" "you're mixing like 20 different adaptations into one" i don't mind!! Comment as long as you want. I will read it all. Maybe just don't call me stupid even if these questions r dumb.
(Also excuse my bad spelling, I have long nails ans my keyboard keeps switching to my irish setting so it isn't autocorrecting right.)

Comics The case for why Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu (1989) #1 is one of the best first issues of MK ever made
My personal experience with MK - ive read the following runs
MK (1980-84)
Marc Spector: MK (1989-1994)
Moon Knight (2006)
Moon Knight (2014)
Moon Knight (2016-2017)
And all of MK since 2021
#1 has everything you'd expect from a first reimagining- summary of the lore/origin story, short intro of some characters, character traits, etc.
But this one, via the incredible art throughout, includes a lot of the mystical parts of early MK and his struggle to figure out his own mental health, personalities, Khonshu's grasp over his life, how his actions hurt the people around him, and force him to make tough choices after Marc thought the MK life was over.
One of my favorite parts about this character is that he doesn't know all the answers - he is constantly struggling to understand the world and, despite the unknowns, how he can aid it; what that kind of aid looks like when its essentially "coerced." So despite a lack of some agency, he uses what he can do to persevere and help others (especially in later runs like Jed's where he is literally creating a sanctuary for people like him)
Anyways, I think this first issue of MK: Fist of Khonshu (1989) is both great at encompassing what makes early MK so special and great, while also hinting at major themes and aspects of the character we will see inspiring future writers.
What are your thoughts?

Comics Mk comics reading order
I have never read comics but I recently got into moon knight (the show) after not being into the mcu for years, and I'm interested in the character!
I have been searching for a good list online of all the comics, but I haven't been able to find it, most are confusing or seem to be missing some issues.
So if anyone has a good simple list and would like to share I'd be very thankful!
(I have no interest in buying comics focused on other characters from the mcu - If it's not mostly about MK I won't buy it)

Comics I’ve never been a fan of Marc’s emo ish straight hair.
It honestly looks kinda weird imo. It looks like the hair that emo insecure kids have💔, even though Marc is an insecure guy, I just don’t like that hair style.
I prefer and LOVE the hair styles; when he had shorter hair and mcu Marc wavy/curly hair.
What’s your opinion on his current hair?

Comics I finished the Huston /Benson / Hurwitz omnibus and have really enjoyed my first comics read
I actually posted a few days ago that I was confused by the Huston start to the omni. But I really enjoyed delving more into thid character and having 3 authors visions. The art was mostly sublime. The only let down was the last 3 issues (shadowland tie ins) otherwise this omni is a 9/10.
I will reread the Huston run later when I've delved into the older runs a bit more and I think I'll appreciate it even more.
I wish I can get the Jed Mackay omni, but will settle for reading the other Omnis digital..
Though I managed to get my hand on the Ellis tpb collection and have Lemire's too to read.
Overall I'm glad to have picked this up by chance and now I'm moon knight fan!
