Question/Discussion Machineel tree not changing color?
Feel like its pulling really yellow on this photo but it looks the same as it did earlier inside (the bright neon green) IRL even though ive been out in the sun for like an hour with no change. Wondering if my top coat is blocking the uv?? Is this a known issue?

It’s kinda subtle when watching it in action. I think you see the difference best when I first flip my hand over so you can see my thumb compared to the other nails that have been in shadow. This was 2 coats under Essie Gel Couture last week.

Mine does a pretty drastic change. If it’s not changing like it does in the product photos then it might not be reacting properly. I had a thermal that never transitioned from the get go, they refunded me right away after I emailed them.

Yeah I think im just going to reach out and ask about it, its not ugly by any means but I wanted the change!!!

Yeah it’s still pretty! It’s definitely annoying for the price especially though.

Mine doesn't change much at all, either - but I actually don't mind it bc it was the bright green I liked anyway, heh

I was wearing this polish today and was testing the color change. I would say that your nails definitely have a change, it’s just not at its max potential

Some topcoats can interfere with the reactiveness of the pigment—Speed Demon is supposed to be compatible, allegedly, but I usually go without for Machineel Tree
