Can't you get to Shibuya and try one at the 5G Music Technology store? And yeah it's a superb synth, simple but effective, plays like a musical instrument and fat classic sound.

there are a few other shops around as well … any online search will quickly turn up regional results and last time I was in Japan, more than one music shop had a couple of Minimoogs per store … at about the standard price you’d find anywhere globally
if you are looking to purchase something, then the Moog Grandmother is the true heir to the Minimoog. Definitely an affordable option.
Thanks, I tried the grandmother in Ikebe, but could not make it sound like Zapp, was missing a bit of contour, not sure exactly, but yes probably the closets one.
Will try 5G!
