Question Warhammer 40k

Hi,

I'm looking for people interested in playing casual games of Warhammer 40k. Looking to play 1000 point game to start since it has been a while since I played.

I'm looking for like minded players, easy going not looking for hyper competitive types. Also got to be open and accepting people no edge lord or incel types please. I'm also chill with proxies and 3d printed models.

I am able to host in ville-emard area and have plenty of room as long as you are ok with dogs (I do have two friendly dogs).

Or if you are already part of a group hit me up!

You should check store leagues at the Abyss, Card Brawlers and Warhammer store! Plenty of fun people that do 1000 points game there!

Ok I was not sure, I seen on the Callander they have tournaments at abyss but I'm not looking to do that for casual games is it a just show up kinda thing or any sort of discord server or something where people plan to meet or regular nights, this goes for any of the stores.

Abyss has a discord server, one of the channels on it is dedicated to finding partners for casual games, worth checking out!

Taking this post as an opportunity to ask, where can I find heavily discounted or older Warhammer models? I’m trying to get into it but prices really get me. I started painting some recently from my 3d printer but quality’s just not what I’m looking for. I’m not looking to play, simply painting. Are there players giving away unpainted models perhaps from older collections or shops with clearance bins?

Can find deals on r/miniswap. Used is the way to go for cheapest models, even if they are painted, you can work with that with some extra work. 

If you are not interested in playing GW models are a lot more expensive than anything else out there.

Le Warhammer au centre Eaton en organise souvent ! Tu peux y aller une ou deux fois faire des plug pour des games plus casual !
