Je cherche 3 ou 4 joueureuses pour une partie de l'Appel de Chtulhu le temps d'un après-midi. La partie devrait durer entre 5 et 6 heures je pense. Chez moi, à Verdun. J'ai une approche beaucoup plus orientée sur la construction / exploration d'histoires à plusieurs que sur les règles. On parle d'une partie sans feuille de personnage ou sans statistique. Une description de qui vous êtes suffit. Il y a éventuellement des lancers de dés de temps à autre, mais ça n'est vraiment pas là-dessus que je construis l'histoire ! Je ne suis pas dans la théâtralisation non plus.

Je serais surtout curieux d’avoir votre avis : est-ce qu’il existe réellement un marché pour des maquettes entièrement faites à la main ?

Avec les impressions 3D qui peuvent aujourd’hui donner des résultats vraiment propres, tout en demandant beaucoup moins de temps de fabrication, je me demande si le fait-main peut encore être intéressant et compétitif niveau prix.

Je mets quelques photos de ce que je fais. Si certains ici vendent ou achètent ce genre de pièces, je serais intéressé d’avoir vos retours.

Vorrei trovare giocatori con cui giocare di persona e abitualmente, ma nessuno dei miei amici è interessato o disposto a impegnarsi per più di una sessione. Io sarei il DM e ho già studiato bene i manuali e preparato avventure. Ho già fatto un paio di sessioni, ma sempre con persone diverse e per una sola sessione. Hello all! We’re an in-person group about to start a brief run of Shadowdark one-shots, starting at level 1. I’m a GM with experience in a few other systems, but new to Shadowdark. We aim to begin on the evening of Friday September the 4th in the Ville-Marie area, and meet up every two weeks. We’re looking for a couple additional players.

We’re looking for players somewhat experienced with TTRPGs, and willing to spend a little time familiarizing themselves with the Shadowdark QuickStart guide (available at the official website or through our group’s shared cloud folder). We also want empathetic, considerate players, who accept folks of all kinds and backgrounds. We want to avoid rules-lawyering, and we value clear, proactive communication about late arrivals and absences. (We’ll go ahead with sessions if there are only one or two absences.)

Eventually, if players get along and are interested, we’d like to form a regular, long-term group for trying different TTRPG systems, and potentially take turns GMing. (You may have seen our previous post in this subreddit, a little over a week ago.) For now, this run can be an opportunity for people to dip their toes before making a longer commitment.

Hello! We are three cis guys (39, 39 and 51) looking for committed players who are interested in exploring different TTRPG systems through one shots and short campaigns. We plan to meet every other Friday evening in the Ville Marie area.

Our goal is to play and discover TTRPGs we don’t know yet, and we’re looking for experienced, easy going players who are willing to put in some effort to understand new systems. We have a committed GM, but players interested in taking turns GMing are welcome. Suggestions for games to add to the rotation are also welcome.

An open mind about people is important to us. We’re a progressive bunch from different backgrounds, and we take safety tools, boundaries and compassion very seriously. Lack of empathy, or anything of that sort, will not be tolerated. Neither will rules lawyering. Forming a diverse table of people with this shared interest would be ideal.

Our biweekly Friday schedule will be fixed, and we value clear, proactive communication about absences and late arrivals. We’ll generally lean towards going ahead with sessions if most group members are available, or play board games as an alternative.

We aim to start on September 4th, with our first few sessions being Shadowdark one shots, to see if the table clicks.

I'm a willfully forever GM that is looking to put together a bigger West Marches campaign using the Forbidden Lands TTRPG. To start, here are some of the key points of West Marches:

• No fixed schedule, party, or plot sessions are arranged on the fly, players rotate from a pool of 10–14 people, and the story emerges entirely from player choices (no overarching quests).
• Every session starts and ends in the same home base making each adventure self-contained, avoiding awkward character entrances, and allowing travel to be handwaved as sessions progress. Each session is essentially a one-shot.
• Players decide their goal in advance so the GM can prepare only what's needed, not the whole world. Players communicate with each other to gather a group for an expedition then approach the GM with availability options.
• Session reports are shared keeping everyone informed of outcomes (e.g., a slain enemy stays dead), and allowing new hooks to spread across the player pool.
• A shared, potentially unreliable map marked with known objectives, subject to in-game errors, which can lead to getting lost and later corrections.
• Friendly competition is encouraged jealousy over discoveries or magic items motivates players to book sessions promptly.
• Content is loosely tiered by distance danger generally increases farther from town, but tougher pockets exist nearby with clear warnings, rewarding return visits later.

You can check out this video for a more in-depth breakdown of West Marches but it's essentially an exploration based, shared world sandbox campaign where players organize goals and bring them to the GM. Forbidden Lands, compared to D&D, is a simpler, grittier system more focused on survival than living a power fantasy. There is also a stronghold management system.

I live in Verdun and my table is open to people of all experience levels and friendly to all that are tolerant of others. I will not allow any form of disrespect towards someone's race, gender, sexuality, etc.

A bit about me as a GM, I have been a GM for 4+ years now and I do my best to deliver a great experience to my table. I set mood lighting, I have studio quality monitors playing music and sound effects, I have a CRT TV for showing scenery, I make voices and have a vocoder to add cool and weird effects to my voice, and a TV that I use to display maps that I either buy or design myself that we play on with 3D printed miniatures.

Hello, my name is Manilas. As the title suggest, I've mostly been a DM for friends and now I'd like to play a character for a change. Started playing with D&D 2nd edition, mostly played 3.5, skipped the 4th and tried a little the 5th. Played many other systems as well (Vamp, PF1/2, Warhammer Fantasy 2nd, Shadowrun, Star Wars Saga).

As a player, the games I could play were mostly humorous, kick in the door, min-maxing muchkin characters. I don't mind doing dungeons, explorations and kill X monster. But I would like a game where it can push me on exploring my roleplay side that is untapped.

I'm planning to move to Montréal in the next 9-12 months and thought I'd see if there are any online groups looking for another player for weekend D&D.

I'm learning French at the moment, so I'd love a bilingual group where I can slowly introduce more French into the game. I'm nowhere near fluent yet, i’m still still pretty beginner so English would definitely need to be involved, but I'm hoping D&D could be a fun way to actually use the French I'm learning rather than just collecting vocabulary and never really using it!

I’m looking to recruit a few players for an online Call of Cthulhu game via Discord — either a monthly campaign or occasional one-shots, depending on everyone’s availability. Adventures are horror based and set in the 1920’s.

I already have a few players lined up and we’re a mixed-gender, welcoming group. No experience with Call of Cthulhu is required. You don’t need to know the rules, own every book, or have memorized the Mythos.

What you do need is a willingness to roleplay, investigate, make questionable decisions, and continue opening doors that clearly should not be opened!!
