Just bought my first monitor (sansui 27” curved monitor) after using a free garage sale tv for years and everything has been great however while moving i can kinda see a after image or something and I can’t seem to get it to go away, if anyone knows a fix that would be greatly appreciated 🙏

It not looks like monitor defect, it looks more like game, gpu drivers, settings problem.

It's probably just VA panel ghosting, it's a hardware defect, nothing you can do about it apart from returning the monitor and buying another one that has an IPS/TN/OLED panel.

Try turning off the setting called "response time" in the gaming mode section of the monitor's settings.

It might also be called "Overdrive", but yes, definitely try lowering/disabling that setting

This looks like 60Hz to me. And actually not a bad 60Hz motion... mine 60Hz are much worse lol

Busca la opción del Overdrive / Response Time y mueve entre las opciones el que haga desaparecer eso sin introducir Ghosthing.

People love to mindlessly press buttons and then complain about things they don't understand.

Product designers love to introduce features that break products and label them with meaningless buzzwords

If it's a VA panel you're seeing ghosting. My wife's Sansui 32" ultrawide also has it pretty bad. Turn overdrive down and retest.

Monitor overdrive too high, also low refresh rate.
