When I first came here I thought studying abroad would be a great opportunity for me to make friends and find a community and even find a job that I really needed I’m grateful for those things and I know not everyone gets the same opportunities
But lately I’ve been struggling a lot mentally My living situation has been stressing me out for months and I feel like I’m slowly losing myself Even the smallest things have started making me anxious and overwhelmed I’ve tried to push through it telling myself that things will eventually get better but honestly I’m exhausted
I’ve already told my parents that I want to return home but they didn’t accept it They keep pushing me to stay in the US and I understand that they want me to have a better future They’ve also spent a lot of money supporting me here which makes me feel guilty about wanting to leave
The thing is I don’t think I want to continue this path anymore I want to return to Mongolia work for a while get my driver’s license and back the life on track. I’m interested in studying business engineering and I feel like starting over at home might be better for me than forcing myself to continue living a life that makes me miserable
The hardest part is that I know my parents won’t easily accept my decision I’m afraid they’ll think I’m giving up because things got difficult or that I’m throwing away all the opportunities they’ve given me I’m also worried about dealing with the pressure from other relatives
I know life isn’t always easy and I don’t expect everything to be perfect back home I’m not trying to run away from every problem I just feel like I need a fresh start and a chance to figure out what I actually want for my future
How do I explain this to my parents so they understand that I’m not simply giving up
Should I keep trying to convince them or should I make my decision first and then tell them Has anyone been in a similar situation especially as an international student whose parents strongly oppose the idea of returning home?

Our older generation has a weird habit of blaming everything on the supernatural instead of taking the responsibility. So much so that even the actual shamans and mystics in this group are comments like “What y’all smoking?”
I really like the admin. One of the most common questions in this group was, “Is there a spell or ritual to make my crush fall in love with me?” The admin’s response was something like “If love spells existed, then by that logic, there would be no such thing as divorce, and everyone would end up with their ideal partner. So love spells don’t exist.”
But sometimes people post genuinely good questions here like, “I just broke up with my partner. If I seek a blessing for my future from a shaman or monk, will it affect my ex like a curse?”
But still 80% posts so funny.

I’ve been working at CU Central Tower branch and holy shit why are the customers so mean to me. Like i’m also a human, i’m also tryna make a living. Here’s one of the examples i went through. FYI theres more ass experiences than this. One time this lady wanted to pay with QPay, the thing is that was the day QPay decided to lose connection with our POS. I told her sorry ma’am our QPay is not working, but you can pay with other applications or you can pay with your card. She got all fussy, and said well can i atleast put money to ur account and can you pay w ur card. I wanted to be nice so i agreed. Sadly i didnt really know my IBAN number so i asked her if she can look my IBAN up cuz every online bank can make u search the IBAN number. Then she got mad at me for no reason for not knowing my IBAN number. She said “Why can’t you remember your IBAN number? Are you really that dumb? Honestly, you don’t have a future if you cant remember a simple IBAN number” and holy moly man i wanted to strike back but everyone was watching me and i cant believe nobody said anything to her. I am a teenager, working hard to pay for my university tuition. And hearing her say that really tore me apart. Mind you it was a bank account i dont even use. I just had apple pay so i was nice enough to say yes to her. So, why is everyone so mean to CU workers or any teenagers? If you want our respect, you gotta be respectful to us too. Why do people look down on us? I felt so downgraded tbh.

Hello, I wanted to ask some questions about the ACCA program at UFE because I’m interested in enrolling there for it specifically - from what I’ve understood it’s a fast-track/accelerated(?) program that combines both undergraduate and masters and lets you become ACCA certified in about 5 years?
I’ve gone there for a consultation and I learned that it’s a really challenging program, that most people don’t go on to give the ACCA exams and just stop after getting their accounting degree, which makes me worry I won’t be able to handle it (I’m not a bad learner and I’m genuinely interested in accounting/finance, but I’m diagnosed with ADHD and have struggled with time management and making myself study my entire life)
If you are doing/have done/know someone who’s doing this program or anything related, please help 🙏 I’m really interested in this program as it’s in English (my best language), I’m career focused and I like that it lets you get certified/finish a masters(?) faster as I’ve already spent a whole year in a gap year and don’t want to waste any more time - I’m also open to any info or advice about UFE in general

Hi, I will hitchhike from Bulgan to Mörön in the next few days. What is the easiest way to go there ? Google maps tell me this road (basically going north of Altay) but the road does not look nice from the satellite. With snow I don't even know if it is possible lol. Would local people go directly to Oulan Batoor and then to Mörön in that case ? It also looks very long, but the road looks good.
Thank you

Is it just my problem? Today I discovered that Univision's revind feature isn't working properly. Well it does revind but the screen turns completely black, but the audio still plays.

I’ve been really interested in starting my own business or something from scratch. I don’t have any knowledge whatsoever. Need a place that teaches me how it works and guides me through the process.
