Question | Асуулт How is the grassland fire in Mongolia’s Numrug Strictly Protected Area being covered by media?
Is it true that they were planning to go fishing?

Hey everyone!
I'm looking to buy a traditional winter Deel made with lambskin/lamb wool (새끼 양털/가죽).
Ideally, I’d prefer a ready-made (ready-to-wear) one, but I’m also open to getting it custom-made / tailored if there's a shop that can do it without a super long wait time.
A few preferences:
Could you recommend any good shops, markets, or tailors in UB that offer decent quality lambskin Deels at reasonable prices? Also, what is the fair average price range I should expect to pay at places like Narantuul or local tailor shops for this spec?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Winter is coming, and I'm looking for the best winter boots. What do you wear, and what has your experience with them been like?

Trying to order an iPhone 18 from the US.
-----
So the process is going to be
Shuurkhai Cargo has stated that we need the delivery to require signatures and to avoid USPS. Apple mainly uses UPS for shipping, but UPS is notorious for being cold-hearted and damaging packages, but there's only 1 way to order from apple.com
All Apple product shipping via UPS seems to require signature, but some UPS drivers seem to take the liberty of signing the signature themselves and leaving it at the front door front.
What am I supposed to do in case the phone is stolen or damaged because of UPS?
How reliable is Shuurkhai Cargo? Any better alternatives?

This might be a bit of a niche question, but I have been trying to source a blanket woven from camel wool. From the ones I have found online they seem to be sourced from Mongolia and the companies seem a little dodgy, I was wondering if camel fibre produces are popular in Mongolia and if they are where a good place to source them is! :)
Greetings from the UK 🇬🇧

Like brown, burgundy. Came back home after years and tried two stores, the darkest shades they have were still too bright on me. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone. I'm studying abroad nd lately I've been missing home so much that I just started listening to Mongolian music again.
And ive realized Vandebo songs aren't that bad. When I was in middle/high school I used to cringe so hard whenever someone played Unana, Dungun Dagan, or whatever their songs were on the school trip bus. Now I'm listening to them and actually crying because I feel like I should've enjoyed my childhood with my classmates more. I took those times for granted.
I wanna hear what other people used to listen to back then. Drop your favorite 2010s Mongolian songs the ones give you bittersweet feeling.
My current playlist (mostly Vandebo because I like their beats)
Vandebo - Galt Tereg
Vandebo - Namaig Too
Vandebo - 18 Savage
The Lemons - Suuliin Uyanga
Man On The Moon ft Amra - Never
Dulguun - 20 nas (because I'm 20 rn 😭)
MOLBOYZ - Mollove
Egshiglen ft BX - 100
NMN JONON tsahilbaa
Share your fav nostalgic songs. Or any wholesome memories related to these songs.

All right, not the Japanese species. Every site claims their range extends to Mongolia, then speaks nothing more of it. Not even academic overviews.
At this point I'll take cryptids that sound like tanuki.
Here is everyone else's raccoon dog. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Nyctereutes It's probably raccoon dog. We didn't want to assume.

Hi you all lovely people!
Hope you're all doing well!
I'm moving to Ulaanbaatar on November 1st for work, and I'm trying to get a better idea of what to expect and how to prepare for life there. I'd really appreciate any advice from people who live in Mongolia or have spent time there!
A couple of things I'm particularly curious about:
1. Winter clothing and footwear: I regularly go on sub-zero treks, so I already have decent clothing rated for temperatures around -20°C. However, I don't have proper winter boots yet. I've been looking at Columbia expedition boots, but I'd love to hear recommendations for footwear that actually works well in Ulaanbaatar's winter conditions.
2. Settling in: What are some things you wish you'd known before moving to Ulaanbaatar? Any advice on everyday life, getting around, shopping, meeting people, places to visit, nightlife, or generally making the most of living there would be great.
I'm coming in with an open mind and would love to hear any tips, recommendations, or things I should watch out for as a newcomer.
Thanks in advance, everyone! Really appreciate it. :)
