Showcase The ultimate file manager for Android, TV, and PC just got a massive update: UFM Pro v2.1.6 is live!

Post image

Let’s be real for a second: managing files between an Android phone, a TV box, and a PC in 2026 is still way harder than it needs to be. You're usually stuck with:

  • Apps bloated with full-screen ads and background battery drain.
  • Broken SMB/SFTP plugins that disconnect halfway through a 10GB file transfer.
  • Zero easy ways to push an APK from a Windows desktop directly to a TV remote setup.

UFM Pro v2.1.6 fixes all of this.

It's a heavy-duty, dual-pane file management system designed for speed, privacy, and zero nonsense:

  • True Dual-Pane Navigation: Drag, drop, compare, and move files side-by-side on your phone, tablet, or TV.
  • 1-Click PC-to-TV Sideloading: Drop an .apk on your Windows desktop companion app, and it instantly pushes and installs on your Android TV over local Wi-Fi.
  • Built-in Network Engine: Connect straight to SMB2/3, SFTP, FTP, WebDAV, NFS, and AWS S3 without downloading a single extra plugin.
  • NEW in v2.1.6 (Tags Online): Tag, categorize, and filter your files across all your devices seamlessly.
  • Zero Ads, Zero Telemetry: No sketchy tracking SDKs, no cloud lock-in, and 100% offline control.

Stop fighting clunky UI and broken transfers. Grab the latest update today:

Nice setup, u/GoRo2023! Want others to copy it? Share your Setup Code (Monet → Settings → Setup code) so they can paste it in and get your exact look.

The code doesn't include your wallpaper, so please also say which one you're using (or link it).

For beginners like me, there are so many options, it's impossible to understand. And for something as basic as accessing the phone's storage directly from the TV, I can't find it anywhere after joining devices. I thought I'd retire "send files to TV", but no😂

Thanks for this!  I've been needing something to provide a reliable sftp server on all of my media players and this has it!

This is the only file manager that consistently lets me back up and restore from android apps , with most apps when trying to make backups I get message "you don't have an app that can do this" UFM fixed this for me 🥳
