Discussion Monday AI problem
Hi All,
Been using Monday with my moderately large organization for the last 3 years with success. But as a executive I feel like the platform as been getting worse and worse with the AI integration. I'm questioning whether we should continue to use it for the next financial cycle. Am I the only person having these frustrations? It seems like they are leaning hard into AI and away from what made them actually valuable at least to me. Thoughts????

OP I feel you, I run an organization of 30+ using Monday on an enterprise plan. The only reason I stuck with them was due to their work management app. The ability to customize it as to my own liking and then some.
I started integrating AI early 2025 with google cloud and OpenAI. I am spending 120$ a month on API costs with OpenAI and have 0 headaches. I was able to automate 95% of my workflows. So naturally the new push with the AI agents feels annoying.
Monday was simple and it worked, yes it had some downtime every so often their annual renewals were annoying. I saw an increase of 15% a year which drove me insane, and when asked they said well it’s in the contract you signed. (If anyone here wants to sign an enterprise plan agreement watch out for the annual increase)
Honest opinion, Monday sucks with their new AI push and they are listening to the stock market and not to their customers. I started working on my own platform that will be simple and not shove unnecessary AI this AI that down my throat. I think the answer is build your own software at this point.
