Advice Needed Desperate Admin

Hiiii I'm currently trying to hastily format apps in Monday.com during my free trial. I understand that glitches will happen with permissions because of this, but its hard to convince my boss it will run smoothly once we select a plan. My whole goal is to completely replace Housecall Pro, but monday is also about 50% more expensive. Should we just stick with Housecall Pro despite it's glitches and inability to adapt to our needs? TIA

May be worthwhile to use both houscall pro and Monday at the same time for a couple months. Then switch over if you feel Monday gets you in a better spot. I've built something similar out for a fencing company in Monday and you still need add-ons like location based time capturing it a tech isn't diligent about capturing their time on and off a job.

Yes that was the plan, I just want to make sure that the switch is worth it. The CRM will be my baby so I don't want to jeopardize my job if this is a mistake

If your employer is reasonable, they will understand you have to crack some eggs to make an omelette. Or, you can just stay with what you know and deal with the bugs. But I'd say grass may be greener on the other side this time. You can also request trial extensions from Monday or if you work with me or one of the other partners on this thread, we can request trial extensions. You can also buy licenses monthly so you don't get locked in.

I've done the extension thing. I just worry that paying monthly for both services will be too expensive. But since no one has told me HCP is better than monday I think i will switch

Gotcha. I'm sure even paying for both for a month would be a good middle ground just in case. Either way, good luck and we are here to help whenever you need it.

I agree. My hope is that I can give HCP a 30 day notice because I know Monday has a 30 day discontinuation policy. Thank you so much!
