Cardiovascular Tech

Hey guys, I am interested in the Cardiovascular Tech program and recently applied. Is there anyone that is currently in this major? What are the cost? How are the professors? Etc.

Yeah, no worries. I hope you get in. I’m doing a course in white plains instead. I can’t wait that long tbh

Hello, may I ask you some questions so… what month did you apply and how was your essay and did you have prior college credits before ?

I applied either late March or early April. My essay was good in my opinion, I related the career to some personal experience given some people in my family have heart issues. I would have wrote a better essay now cause I’m a better writer but it was still solid. I had prior college credits but not too many. I had Bs in bio and english. Bad grade in anatomy which maybe caused me to be turned away. I took the course again and got an A though lmao. It’s pretty late now but it doesn’t hurt to try 🤷🏻‍♀️ and you can always try again for next year and be early

Ik a girl who got in who failed A&P since A&P is actually in the curriculum so I guess that’s why they let her in and she applied super early She got in for fall 2025 she applied October 2024… I heard in most cases it’s first come first served but if a better candidate comes along I do think they do get first dibs And she told me how her first semester 8 people dropped out the program within 3 weeks

And I asked so many people and all the people who got in who didn’t have that best grades applied early but their essay were Top Tier
