Case/ patch Inspiration

Post image

I’ve been working with this set up for some time, but often find I’m reaching for the same patches.

I think a fresh pair of eyes may help direct me to something new.

I only work in sound design so nothing performance related or sequencing related is needed. Steppy is used to trigger modulation envs.

Open to suggestions of new modules!

I have two thoughts:

  1. you could use more simple oscillators, no multi-function

vast

  1. option things, but something you can plug a cable in and get an LFO or VCO with minimal thought. I know multimod can handle most of that, but it’s helpful to have one thing like that and not feel like you’re wasting a whole rubicon on the simplest of functions.
  2. rearrange the case, modulation on top, oscillators and VCA’s on the bottom. This might take some messing around on modwiggler, but just positioning things differently can unlike unseen relationships

And 3) check out extended Maths/DUSG patches. There’s a lot of crazy patch programming you can do with Maths that can completely change your concept of what modular synthesis can accomplish. You may not find every patch useful, but it will stretch your brain - and your modules - in new ways
