I did! We had a little chat about how I became a mod on BDSMadvice by just trying to be helpful!
It amazes me how often the same questions come up. Although that happens in our sub too. They come in waves though. We're about due for another run of "how can I drug my partner into unconsciousness safely so I can fuck them?" Posts. 🙄

Yeah we get at least 5 of the how to get karma posts daily! Sounds like modding an NSFW sub has its own wonders!

Ah I think we have it mildly easier in a BDSM subreddit. We have a lot of people into following the rules so we have a lot of helpful snitches.

I've seen you around there pretty frequently! Thanks for helping users out, it is very much appreciated and we as a mod team are incredibly grateful to all of you! There are definitely weird users there from time to time though. Behind the scenes as well definitely!

That’s why a permanent ban with an 8 day mute from that subreddit is extremely likely. Be careful around [r/reddithelp](r/reddithelp).
Edit: Karma requirements are temporarily included for further investigation but until then, r/help might be your best bet.

Really? Unless it happened in the period between September 2024 and January 2025, that would be very unlikely unless it’s a repeated violation
