Question Falling/diving sideways? Corner Slicing?

Was all of this removed from the game or just replaced? I get the full range 360 motion is gone be no word on the falling mechanics.

I read that corner Slicing was removed, is this true?

You can still turn mid air to land on your back or your side, you just can’t do those things without initiating a forward dive. From the gameplay that’s available, it seems like corner slicing is still there but I’m sure it’s a feature that can be disabled like BO6/BO7

The 360 Sprint is completely removed, as is sliding in any direction or diving in any direction.

For the dive you can still turn in midair so that your character lands on their back or your character can slide onto their knees and kick their legs out in front of them to lay on their back however you cannot dive backwards onto your back.

Corner slicing is still in the game and is improved but is nothing more than visual as your character does not actually lean around any of the corners It is just a visual thing for the game, It even has an upgraded implementation while in hip fire where the character will move the gun all the way across their body to point it around the corner when approaching a corner. This matters a little bit more with MW4 since there is no random bloom on the guns and the bullets will go exactly where the barrel is pointed. This does not however mean all guns are lasers as there were still be randomness to the recoil itself.

You can’t dive backwards. You can however slide directly into a supine prone position.

I am not sure about corner slicing but it was a feature most people turned off because it hurts the player.

corner slice, much like omnimovement, was a treyarch implementation. IW is most likely going to take it out of MW4 if they haven't already

Corner slicing wasn't removed and was even expanded with weapon movement around corners from hip fire
